Amanda’s passion for the property began as a child, exploring the expansive estate unknown to her of what it would become.
Fast forward many years, where she attended university in New York, studying Communication Studies, with a minor in Creative and Professional Writing and learning the ins and outs of the music and entertainment industry.
After college, she went to work for one of the leading entertainment public relations firms, Slate-PR on the events and branding team. As part of the Slate-PR Team, Amanda executed red carpet events in New York City, Los Angeles and Arizona working Awards Shows, Charity Galas, Fashion Shows and many more. Notably, The Tony Awards, Cartoon Network Hall of Game Awards, Vanity Fair Oscar Events, Disney Launch Events, USA Network Events, Celebrity Fight Night and Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation Gala. Following her tenure at Slate-PR, Amanda travelled to Doha, Qatar where she was part of the Ruby Stone Productions Team, for the 2011 Doha Tribeca Film Festival as a Red Carpet Specialist.
Upon returning to Trinidad, with her vast experience in events, the idea of Drew Manor was fashioned. Wanting to do events, her way, Amanda set out to raise the bar for venues in Trinidad, elevating the clients experience through every interaction with herself, and her growing team.
Detail oriented, creative and passionate are three words to describe Amanda, she’s obsessed with perfecting events, and enhancing the client’s experience. Using her knowledge to guide clients to making their dreams a reality.

Shawn is our go-to gal for all things food. Prior to joining our team, she worked in the catering industry for many years. Her vast knowledge of catering, menus, food production and all things delicious is an asset to our team. Shawn enjoys the production of events, engulfing herself into each set up and production from planning to execution.
When assisting clients, her organizational skills, positive attitude and professionalism get the job done.
I am a professionally trained chef – Food has no limit, the art of creating different flavors, textures, and experiences with no rules or guidelines is absolutely exhilarating to me and of course eating is equally rewarding.
